OPERATIONS MANAGER, Full Time/ permanent position
Job Description:
Co-ordinating, execution and management of all administrative support functions for the Flight Operations department.
Essential Position Functions:
- Provide supervision and oversight to the Flight Operations Administration staff.
- Responsible for the co-ordination of initial and recurrent training from an administrative perspective.
- Assist with the pilot hiring and interviews
- Responsible for assisting the Assistant Operations Manger with document/manual creations and revisions.
- Complete with assistance from AOM with correspondence and form submission to various regulatory agencies under the direction of the COO
Minimum Qualifications:
- Three (3) years Airline experience
- One (1) year in Management / Supervisory Positions(s)
- Relevant operational experience.
- Good working knowledge of company policy and procedures and processes
- Good working knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations and / or IATA Operational Safety Audit standards.
- Good knowledge of PC hardware and software applications as well as Transport Canada airline system operations
