OPERATIONS MANAGER, Full Time/ permanent position

Job Description:

Co-ordinating, execution and management of all administrative support functions for the Flight Operations department.

Essential Position Functions:

• Provide supervision and oversight to the Flight Operations Administration staff.
• Responsible for the co-ordination of initial and recurrent training from an administrative perspective.
• Assist with the pilot hiring and interviews
• Responsible for assisting the Assistant Operations Manger with document/manual creations and revisions.
• Complete with assistance from AOM with correspondence and form submission to various regulatory agencies under the direction of the COO

Minimum Qualifications:

• Three (3) years Airline experience
• One (1) year in Management / Supervisory Positions(s)
• Relevant operational experience.
• Good working knowledge of company policy and procedures and processes
• Good working knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations and / or IATA Operational Safety Audit standards.
• Good knowledge of PC hardware and software applications as well as Transport Canada airline system operations
